|I taught myself html back in the 90's when people were just beginning to have their own little "homepage" on the web and I have continued to be self-taught in web design as well as in digital videography and editing.
I already had been designing collateral in all the offices I worked in during my 11 year tenure at FedEx and designing websites just seemed to be a logical next step. I even convinced my boss one year to allow me to purchase a digital video camera, digital video editing software, and to create a team of front line employees to produce a monthly video news magazine for employees. I have a B.A. in Sociology and Film Studies.
Over time, I became more and more interested in website and collateral design teaching myself more and as I could purchasing the software I needed to continue learning more and designing better and better.
A couple of years ago, I "quit my day job" and not only began managing my husband's career but also began working on my website and collateral design business. Eventually, I hope to add digital video editing to my repertoire.
